Meet our Team:

Martha A. Henry Ed.D., PresidentMartha A. Henry, Ed.D., President
Marty Henry founded the firm based on the knowledge that critical needs in education programming were being left unserved. Her path as an educator had led from service as a classroom teacher at the elementary, middle and high school level to taking an advanced degree and serving on the faculty at Maryville University and the University of Missouri-St. Louis in teacher education programs. As she worked in teacher preparation, consulted in developing and aligning curriculum to national and state standards, and served in professional organizations. Her interests increasingly centered on research and evaluation areas. She knew that, in an environment of dynamic change and demands for improved achievement in education, the expert, ethical evaluation of program performance and outcomes was crucial. Such evaluation was and remains rare. She spent five years with the Mid-continent Research for Education and Learning (McREL) in Denver and finally decided that the needs she saw around her would be best filled by the creation of a smaller, more flexible organization that could more readily tailor its services to the specific needs of clients. M.A. Henry Consulting, LLC is now the region's most experienced evaluator of federally funded education programs. Marty holds her Ed.D. from the University of Missouri-St. Louis and a Certification in Evaluation Practice from The Evaluators Institute at George Washington University.
